Civil Service Commission

The Taraba State Civil Service Commission came into existence with the creation of the state on the 27th August, 1991. The State was carved out of the then Gongola State. In line with the Constitutional provision, the Taraba State Civil Service Commission comprises of the Chairman, four Members who are the policy makers and the Secretariat made up of the Permanent Secretary, Secretary, two Directors and Accountant/Internal Auditor and supporting staff which cut across the cadres. The Taraba State Civil Service Commission has witness so far five (5) sets of Commission members and now the sixth. The first Chairman of the Taraba State Civil Service Commission was Dr. Yusuf Magaji, followed by Hon. Dauda Kefas Zing, Alh. A. A. Bako, Mr. Yuguda Kaigama and the recent past Chairman was Mr. Fidelis Kaigama.
